WHY FUSE

A place for long, candid conversation

Fuse was created for questions that do not fit into short clips or prepared answers: an independent media platform where a conversation continues until the hidden layers of an idea become visible.

Our path and approach

Fuse continues this journey through long-form, research-led conversations with people from a wide range of fields, seeking to go beyond conventional introductions and prepared answers.

Arash's role extends beyond conducting interviews. Each conversation develops through research, planning its themes, and attending to the guest's personal and intellectual experience. The aim is to introduce audiences to aspects of a guest's life, perspective and journey that short, formal interviews rarely have time to explore.

Fuse conversations do not necessarily remain agreeable or unchallenging. They can become critical discussions in which guests' worldviews, arguments and positions are examined closely and questioned wherever necessary. Fuse seeks to make candid exchange possible, with as few conventional restraints as possible, so that disagreement remains visible and criticism is not sacrificed to appearances or customary politeness.

Alongside the interviews, Arash explores philosophy, politics, society, ethics and culture in Fuse's analytical series. Media independence, attention to complexity, and resisting simple answers to difficult questions guide its editorial direction.

For Arash, Fuse is an attempt to create an independent space for conversation, hearing different experiences and perspectives, and thinking more carefully about matters that affect individual and collective life.
