Hamidreza Mirzadeh

Hamidreza Mirzadeh is a specialist journalist and environmental advocate. Since 2007, he has written for a range of media outlets about nature, biodiversity and environmental crises. He served as editor-in-chief of Sabzpress and later worked as a media adviser to Iran's Department of Environment.

In FUSE 17, Mirzadeh discusses the normalisation of crisis, the distance between news and everyday experience, and how society often takes environmental danger seriously only when confronted with it directly.
