Mahdi Ahmadi

Mahdi Ahmadi is a journalist, interviewer and founder of Azad Media, an independent outlet focused on long-form conversations with cultural, social and political figures. His approach centres on listening to different accounts and creating space for dialogue.

In FUSE 41, Ahmadi discusses media independence, the financial and professional costs of producing long-form content, the boundary between neutrality and responsibility, and whether a free media outlet must fight for the very possibility of conversation.
